The chef Ball Ameson, who hosts “Spice Goddess” on Cooking Channel, will be offering cooking demonstrations and food tastings from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 11, during an open house at Shaker Pointe at Carondelet, a senior-living community in Watervliet.
