Join us at Shaker Pointe for a complementary keynote speaker! This month we are proud to host author and speaker Dick Edwards, retired Mayo Clinic Eldercare Specialist. Mr. Edwards will be visiting our community on April 28th for two separate sessions, starting at 12:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 p.m. His book, “Mom, Dad…Can We Talk?” discusses the topic of how adult children can approach what’s best for their aging parents. Edwards speech builds on themes and stories from the book and from his 35 year career working with older adults and their families. Mr. Edwards is a passionate advocate for persons growing older and for their families. His presentation helps open the door to larger conversations that take place at home.
